Kanye In Deep Debt

Kanye West is not considered the most humble guy around. His continuous bashing of others success and even his repeated offenses to Taylor Swift are nothing short of social media fodder. But it looks like Kanye has come up with a brand new way to be utterly ridiculous. He took to twitter and publicly announced that he is $53 million dollars in debt. With all the money he throws around you wouldn’t think he was strapped for cash. He buys fur coats for his two year old son. But on twitter he begged for help from Mark Zuckerberg, on his birthday no less.

There are people out there that have been quick to note that Kanye asked the founder of Facebook for help on Twitter, but that’s none of our business. It looks like he is also reaching out to other influential people like Larry Page for help as well. Who doesn’t like being second to Mark Zuckerberg?

Basically, he’s saying that his needs are greater than the underprivileged youths in Africa. While that’s very classy, he doesn’t stop there.

His logic is simply flawless. We’re wondering why nobody has stepped up to the plate and given him the money he deserves yet. At least one fan has decided to help Kanye out. A man by the name of Jeremy Piatt has started a gofundme page that is asking the fans to donate whatever they can to get him out of debt. So far the pledges have reached an astonishing $8,000. But according to TMZ Kanye refuses to take they money raised by this gofundme campaign and will only entertain “real help” from serious backers like Mark Zuckerberg. We can only imagine that Kanye was desperate enough to reach out publicly because the queen of his castle, Kim Kardashian, isn’t very happy about their financial situation. After all, as Kanye has already admitted to, he wants the best for his family and that means a certain standard of living.

In a last desperate attempt to appeal to the masses he even said that he had a hard working friend who he might consider on the poor side.

In case you were wondering, that works out to roughly $96,000 per year. Hardly the poor friend we were expecting. Sort of like a white guy trying to say he’s not racist by saying he has a black friend. It just doesn’t quite work out. In the end, it looks like Kanye just has to figure out a way to get himself out of the situation he’s created. Maybe that gofundme campaign will actually pay off, only time will tell.

  1. Karma’s a bitch, Kanye. You go around insulting great artists like Beck and starting wars with every critique that offends you, something’s bound to happen. Sheer talent is a good thing, but it won’t get you everywhere in this business.

  2. Kanye’s popularity is ridiculous. His music is not that amazing and his tweets are just ignorant and do not make sense for most of the time. I can’t believe there are people out there who genuinely think that Kanye deserves to be popular.

  3. Tell me again, what made this man famous? Because I can’t think of anything other than his dumb ways

  4. Talk about desperate moves.. Such ideas can be thought of by even mediocre minds and Kanye’s asking for loads of money for it? Give me a break

  5. why would he think Mark or any other billionaire care enough about his stunts? this is a joke

  6. Many people around the globe face problems regarding their very survival. Needs like food, clothing, shelter, and water exceed what Kanye claims to be more important.

  7. How narcissistic is he? I can not believe that he buys and buys and still says he is in debt. What ever, grow up and take care of business.

  8. One fur could feed many in a third world country and he has the nerve to complain. Start selling assets.

  9. While it may be true that Kanye West is deep in debt, I think his tweets were just a publicity stunt. I actually find them hilarious in his callousness and absurdity. No wonder Mark Zuckerberg et al. are not taking his pleas seriously. I don’t mean to laugh at a man who’s down on his luck, but I have a feeling that he wasn’t really serious in asking for help with his financial situation via Twitter. I’m sure he and his wife Kim have affluent people in their circles that they could reach out to in private.

  10. Kanye and Kim are probably the most disdained couple because of their “classy” ways. Good luck on getting out of that situation, man.
